The 5 Kingdoms of Life:

Monera - single celled organisms, such as bacteria

Protists - multiple celled organisms that are usually found in water, such as algae

Fungi - motionless organisms, such as mushrooms and mold

Plants - organisms that contain chlorophyll, such as flowers, fruit, grasses, trees and shrubs

Animals - the most complex multi-celled organisms, such as humans, will and domestic animals, fish, dolphins, worms and insects
